Peptide Microarrays

Peptide microarrays containing hundreds of different peptides on solid glass or polymer supports in a specific pattern are used as high-throughput and high-sensitivity screening tools in biomedicine. This technology can be used to screen antibodies, enzymes and other ligands from target samples, including body fluids, tissues and cells, leading to the discovery of new biomarkers for the precise diagnosis of diseases. In addition, the identification of inhibitors of enzymes using peptide microarrays may provide an opportunity for the rapid development of enzyme-targeted drugs.
